What data we store

CRM Duplicates stores the following in monday.com's built-in storage (monday.storage), which lives inside your own monday.com account:

• Merge history: for each merge you confirm, which record was kept, which records were archived (their display name and the group they came from, so the history reads meaningfully), the board, a timestamp, and the monday.com user ID of the person who performed the merge. This lets the app show a history of merges and attribute them.
• A 7-day undo snapshot: so a merge can be reversed, the app keeps a copy of the field values that were on the kept record immediately before the merge. These are your own CRM field values and may include details such as names, email addresses or phone numbers. This snapshot is automatically deleted 7 days after the merge; after that the merge can no longer be undone and only the merge history above remains (which includes the archived records' display names, but no email addresses or phone numbers).
• Your match settings: how strict the similar-name matching should be (a single number), kept separate per user.
• Your CRM board mapping: which of your boards represent Leads, Contacts and Accounts, so cross-CRM detection knows where to look.

We do not operate any external server or database, and we do not copy your CRM data anywhere outside monday.com. Other than the 7-day undo snapshot and the archived records' display names in the merge history (both described above), the app does not retain the field values from your records.

How the app changes your data

CRM Duplicates only writes to your boards when you explicitly confirm a merge. When you merge, the values you choose are written to the record you keep, and the other records are moved into a "Merged duplicates" group on the same board. The app never deletes a record. Every merge can be reversed from the Undo panel for 7 days.

Permissions we request

CRM Duplicates requests only the monday.com permissions it needs:

• Read boards: to scan your CRM boards and detect duplicate records.
• Write boards: used only when you confirm a merge, to update the record you keep and archive the others. Never used for background, bulk, or unprompted changes, and never to delete records.
• Your monday.com user ID: to keep your settings separate from other users and to attribute each merge in the history.

Where data is stored

All data the app stores is held exclusively in monday.com's own storage infrastructure (monday.storage), inside your account. Data stored in monday.storage is protected by monday.com's built-in encryption and security controls. We do not operate external servers, databases, or cloud storage of our own.

Third-party services

The CRM Duplicates app, running inside monday.com, does not use any third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools. It communicates only with monday.com's API.

Website analytics

Our public website pages on nichcraft.com (the CRM Duplicates landing, pricing, privacy, and terms pages) use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the pages through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, which helps us improve them. This usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies, and Clarity masks sensitive content by default. Microsoft Clarity runs only on these public marketing pages. It does not run inside the CRM Duplicates app, nor on the help page, which opens in its own browser tab. The app itself, running inside monday.com, uses no analytics, tracking, or third-party servers of any kind (see "Third-party services" above). Data retention

The 7-day undo snapshot is automatically deleted 7 days after each merge. Merge history is kept for a limited, rolling window (the most recent merges, up to roughly 30 days) and older entries are dropped automatically. Your match settings and board mapping persist as long as the app is installed on your account. monday.com manages the retention and security of all data stored in monday.storage.

Data deletion

You may request deletion of your stored data at any time by contacting support@nichcraft.com. We will process deletion requests within 10 days. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete this data: the app has no backend to receive monday.com's uninstall notification, so the stored data remains in monday.storage on monday.com's infrastructure. To have it fully deleted, email support@nichcraft.com and we will complete the deletion within 10 days. Records you have already merged on your boards are unaffected by uninstalling and remain under your control in monday.com.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the data the app stores on your behalf. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@nichcraft.com. We will respond within 10 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
